On September 1, 2021, the fifteen-year run of Situational Awareness Matters “Get in the Loop” Tour Stops will come to a close.

On that date I will be retiring from my career as a researcher, professional speaker, author, consultant and podcaster to enjoy time with my family and pursue many more of my life’s goals.

It is my sincere hope that by then, I will have planted many seeds and grown a large community of learners who are passionate about human factors, human error, situational awareness, decision making under stress and resiliency.

I hope the community of learners will be so large, in fact, that issues relating to situational awareness and flawed decision making will no longer be leading contributing factors in near-miss and line-of-duty deaths.

May the peace of the Lord… and strong situational awareness… be with all first responders… always… and in all ways.
